Understanding Your Wants and Needs for your next role >

Whatever your reasons for changing roles it is always a good opportunity to take stock of your current situation, reflect on your previous jobs and think about what you want from your next opportunity and what is going to really make you happy.
There are lots of opportunities when moving on from a job, it could be a good time to look at a change of career, change the sector in which you work in, enhance your development through training or even consider working for yourself or setting up a business.
Before you make any of these decisions however, it is really important to spend time thinking about what your wants and needs are from your next job and career and what it is that you can offer, we use our alignment model to help you really think about some questions as you start to decide what is right for you with your next role.
Achieving your next position is a process that requires a lot of time and effort, so be prepared to set aside time on a regular basis to give yourself the best possible chance of landing your perfect job. We would encourage everyone to not just jump into the first role that you might be offered without giving careful consideration to what is the right next step for you and we are here to help you through this thought process.

Working with Kevin has been unlike working with any other coach I’ve ever known. I knew that my skills and talents made me hugely valuable, however they didn’t fit neatly into the neat little boxes used by many recruiters.
By trying to fit into these I was underselling myself. Kevin helped me understand that I needed control of my own brand, and his expert approach has guided me through a process of self-discovery and reflection to a point where I now know what this is, how to promote it, and am ready to hit the executive job market. His commitment is second-to-none and I would recommend Kevin’s services, and the Next Step approach to anyone except my direct competitors!
